Blake Snell hurled nothing but zeros at the Chicago (N) Cubs in an impressive outing at Chase Field. The Arizona pitcher allowed 2 hits, fanned 11, and walked 2 in blanking Chicago (N), 5-0.
"There were a lot of frustrated guys walking back to the dugout," Chicago (N) manager Matt Ida said. "Not a fun day."
Thus far this season, Snell has tossed 139.1 innings in 24 starts, fanned 135 batters, walked 60 and put up a 4.07 ERA with 5 wins and 8 losses.
