FORT News: First-Year Player Draft Monday, October 27th, 1969 It's draft day in the FORT. Clubs across the circuit will be trying to outmaneuver one another, hoping to conceal their most coveted picks until the last second. Once the action starts, though, all the mock drafts and predictions are out the window, and it's anybody's guess who will end up where. Grabbing the first picks are: Milwaukee, Detroit, Miami, New York and Kansas City. BNN predicts the first ten players selected will be: 1. Wilson Ramos, 21 year-old C out of college. 2.
