Mets Win League Championship Series

The New York Mets are one step closer to the World Series.
The club prevailed 10-4 at Shea Stadium tonight to eliminate the Boston Red Sox and advance to the World Series.
The Mets won the series by a 4-2 margin, with first baseman and series MVP Eric Karros leading the way.
"I'm proud of all the guys," Karros said. "This was a team effort, not just me."
The New York Mets will play against the Colorado Rockies in the next round. Colorado won their series against the Chicago Cubs 4 games to 2. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
