Giancarlo Stanton out of Lineup, Listed DTD Friday, October 3rd, 1969
Cubs star right fielder Giancarlo Stanton might be sitting it out a few days after he picked up an injury in yesterday's game against the Detroit Tigers. He sustained a sore wrist while making a defensive play. Stanton isn't expected to miss a lot of time. However, doctors want to be cautious. They said he would be day-to-day for about 2 weeks.
For the season Stanton is currently batting .231 with 28 home runs and 79 RBIs. In 147 games he has reached base at a .329 rate and scored 78 runs to date.
