Tartabull Smashes 3 HR Thursday, October 2nd, 1969 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Camden Yards buzzing, Baltimore Orioles shortstop Danny Tartabull blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 11-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. "Everything was clicking," Tartabull told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Tartabull shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 9 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Orioles manager Andre Ivarsson said. "Danny played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Danny Tartabull hit a solo-shot off Doug Davis in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Doug Davis in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Beattie in the 7th and walked in the 8th.
