Young Dominates Kansas City Friday, September 26th, 1969
The Colorado Rockies rolled to an easy 7-0 win over the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium today. Leading the way to victory was starter Chris R Young, who shackled the Kansas City Royals and held them scoreless on a 2-hitter.
"This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Young said in his postgame press conference.
For the season Young has logged 15 wins and 10 losses and struck out 154 batters in 216.2 innings while compiling a 3.45 ERA.
