Playoffs? No Chance for Milwaukee Wednesday, September 17th, 1969 It certainly could have been worse this year for the Milwaukee Brewers, but that does not mean it was a season to remember. The team was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. Milwaukee last appeared in the postseason in 1965. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 14 times in their 23-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Brewers have missed the playoffs 5 times. |
