NL Votes Tigers Cepeda Top Player

So far in his young career, Orlando Cepeda has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the National League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts.
The 21-year-old Detroit Tigers first baseman hit at a torrid .500 clip as he collected 10 hits in 20 at-bats, 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 2 runs scored.
Thus far this season in 123 games Cepeda is batting .281 with 18 home runs, 77 RBIs and 71 runs scored. He has 138 hits in 491 at-bats.
