Hickey Hurls Yankees to Shutout Victory Saturday, September 6th, 1969 Jim Hickey kept the Montreal Expos hitters off balance all game long as the Bronx Yankees pitcher blanked the Expos, 2-0. Hickey gave up 4 hits, struck out 4 and walked 1. In the postgame press conference, the right-hander was reluctant to talk about the outing at length. "It was a nice win in a long season," he said.
