Pirates Get Road Win, 6-0
|
Pittsburgh right-hander Hal Brown was in fine form, shutting out the Montreal Expos, 6-0. The second-place Expos have lost 4 consecutive games.
It could have been a different outcome for Pittsburgh, had it not been for Ted Kluszewski, the seven-time All-Star . Kluszewski contributed a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Pittsburgh up, 6-0.
"It was a solid team effort," said Brown after the game.
