|
The Brooklyn Dodgers topped the Montreal Expos, 3-2, in American League action at Ebbets Field. The player of the game was Brooklyn pitcher and The United States native Greg Mathews. The Dodgers raised their record to 50-61.
Martin Maldonado aided the Brooklyn cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first. For the game, the catcher went 1-3 with a walk.
