Rockies Roll to 11-3 Win Over Expos
The Colorado Rockies picked up a win at Astrodome, knocking off the Montreal Expos, 11-3. Starting pitcher Ben Sheets played a key role in the triumph. The second-place Expos have dropped 4 straight games.

The Rockies got a big at-bat from designated hitter Lonnie Smith. For the game, Smith went 2-5 with 2 doubles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 19th double of the season gave Colorado a 4-1 lead.

"Nothing fazes Ben," said Colorado manager Ben Thompson.
