Keenan Toys with St. Louis
|
Jimmie Keenan handcuffed the St. Louis Cardinals at Ebbets Field today, coming away with a 4-hit, complete game shutout.
"I had everything working for me out there," the Brooklyn Dodgers left-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted."
With his stuff working, Keenan had little trouble with the Cardinals and led the Dodgers to victory, 4-0. He recorded 4 strikeouts and 1 walk in an impressive performance.
In no relief appearances this season, Keenan has no saves. He has 5 wins and 5 losses, 2.81 ERA and 112 strikeouts in 121.2 innings.
