Bottomley Hits 2 home runs in Brewers Win
|
Milwaukee designated hitter Jim Bottomley made his presence felt in the 6-2 Brewers triumph over the Kansas City Royals. Bottomley belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Brewers are off to a tough start, getting just their 3rd win in 8 games.
Milwaukee took a 2-0 lead on Bottomley's 12th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which he hit off Ryan Vogelsong in the top of the sixth, propelled Milwaukee to the win.
"Enjoyed this one," Bottomley told the Milwaukee Gazette. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
