Rockies Keep Streak Alive With 6-2 Win
|
Colorado starter Bob Cain pitched effectively against the Brooklyn Dodgers at Ebbets Field. The left-hander led his team to a 6-2 win. The Rockies own a robust 46-27 mark.
The result might have been different for Colorado, had it not been for Lonnie Smith. The designated hitter produced a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning to put the Rockies ahead, 2-0. For the game, Smith had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
