Orioles Lose to Dodgers, 4-1
|
Brooklyn pitcher John D'Acquisto did his part in helping his team beat the Baltimore Orioles, 4-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Brooklyn is now 31-34.
Brooklyn used the clutch hitting of Lastings Milledge to capture the win. The right fielder drilled a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Dodgers the lead, 3-1. For the game, Milledge had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Brooklyn skipper Jason Spiegel.
