The Baltimore Orioles got a stellar performance from pitcher Francisco Cordova, who handcuffed the Kansas City offense en route to a 5-2 win at Camden Yards. Cordova went 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 4. His record improves to 4-3. The Orioles bumped their record to 29-25 with this latest triumph.
The Orioles picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Baltimore manager Andre Ivarsson.
