Rockies Pull Even With 10-5 Victory
The Colorado Rockies downed the Montreal Expos, 10-5, at La Stade Olympique. The Rockies were led by Jim Edmonds, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2 for 4 with a triple and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The Rockies improve their record to 22-22 with the win over Montreal.

It could have been a different outcome for Colorado, had it not been for Gary Gaetti, the three-time All-Star . Gaetti contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put Colorado up, 6-3.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Gaetti. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
