Riding the 2-hit performance of designated hitter Johnny Rizzo, the Boston Red Sox got a road win against the Arizona Diamondbacks, 7-3, in Game 3 of the Divisional Series today. Rizzo was 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Red Sox, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

Boston used the clutch hitting of Dale Long to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to give the Red Sox the lead, 1-0. For the game, Long had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"We'll savor this win," Rizzo told the Boston Daily News, "then get ready for the next game."

Game 4 is set to be played tomorrow at Chase Field. Slated to start are Tyler Anderson for Boston and Chuck Taylor for Arizona.
