Raucous Fenway Park Crowd Propels Red Sox to 5-0 Victory; Series Tied at 1
The Boston Red Sox knotted up the Divisional Series at Fenway Park today, thanks in large part to starter Clayton Richard. Richard quieted the Arizona Diamondbacks, enabling Boston to grab the 5-0 win and move into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-7 series.

Richard, who was born in Lafayette, Louisiana, threw 95 pitches over 7.2 innings, while allowing no earned runs.

"We're happy," Richard told reporters after the win. "When you're in the playoffs, you've got to treat every game like it could be your last."

The next game is set to be played Saturday at Chase Field. The scheduled starters for the game are Al Shealy for Boston and Clay Buchholz for Arizona.
