Steve R Ontiveros had a hand in Colorado defeating Milwaukee by the score of 15-2. Ontiveros went 3 for 3 at the plate, scoring 3 times and driving in 1 runs. Mike Boddicker was the winning pitcher. Over 8.1 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 3 hits, with 3 walks and 7 strikeouts. Even with the win, it has been a disastrous start to the year for the Rockies, who once had aspirations of returning to the playoffs but now find themselves mired in last place at 8-17.
Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at Astrodome seemed to enjoy watching the National League action.
Milwaukee manager Michael Ejercito called the blowout loss "ugly."
