Yankees Win at Boston, 6-3
|
The Bronx Yankees picked up a win at Fenway Park, knocking off the Boston Red Sox, 6-3. On the mound for Bronx was right-hander David Palmer, who played a pivotal role in the win. Bronx is now 13-11.
Bronx relied on the hitting of Greg O'Halloran to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Yankees on top, 3-0. For the game, O'Halloran had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," O'Halloran said after the game.
