Ohtani Delivers Clutch At-Bat for St. Louis in Walk-Off Win
|
The St. Louis Cardinals topped the Baltimore Orioles, 3-2, in American League action at Busch Stadium. The player of the game was St. Louis pitcher and Puerto Rico native Ed Correa. St. Louis reliever Ralph Botting picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Eddie Watt shouldered the loss. Losses have been few and far between for the Orioles so far this season. Their record drops to 15-7.
St. Louis took a 3-2 lead on Shohei Ohtani's 1st home run of the season. The solo home run came off Baltimore pitcher Eddie Watt in the bottom of the 14th.
"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Ohtani said.
