Orioles Top Cubs Behind Syndergaard, 3-0
|
The Baltimore Orioles picked up a win at Wrigley Field, knocking off the Chicago Cubs, 3-0. On the mound for Baltimore was right-hander Noah Syndergaard, who played a pivotal role in the win. Losses have been rare for the Cubs, who are now 13-4.
Syndergaard delivered a quality start for Baltimore. The 6' 6" right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits over 8.1 innings of work.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Syndergaard, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
