The Arizona Diamondbacks racked up a win at Chase Field, bumping off the Boston Red Sox, 3-2. Al McBean, who started for Arizona, pitched effectively for his team. McBean picked up the win for Arizona, going 8.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 15-7. Ismael Valdez was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 20 of 25 save opportunities.
