Late Rally by Marlins Secures Win
|
The Miami Marlins got a stellar performance from pitcher Jack Fisher, who handcuffed the St. Louis offense en route to a 5-1 win at Turner Field. The Marlins raised their record to 6-7.
Ronald Acuna, who is tied for 3rd in the AL in home runs with 3, chipped in for Miami with a solo home run in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 2 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Acuna told the Miami Bulletin.
