The Tampa Deputies made it look easy and are heading to the World Series.
They have ousted the Hudson Valley Renegades in a sweep, the final win coming by a 4-0 score, clinching the 4-0 series win.
"Everything's clicking for us right now," said Riggs Stephenson, who was named MVP for the series.
Stephenson hit .444 with a .500 on-base percentage. He added 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 4 runs.
The Tampa Deputies don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Madison Mallards - Chesterfield Royals series. Chesterfield leads the series 3 games to 1. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
