Postseason Bid Ends for Honolulu Tuesday, September 11th , 2001 Honolulu Pioneers fans can be excused for feeling a little grumpy today -- the club has been officially eliminated from playoff contention. This is the club's 5th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 1996. In total, the Pioneers have missed the playoffs 21 times in their 22-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Pioneers have only made the playoffs once. |
