Allen: Big Hit in the Sub League 1 Monday, September 3rd , 2001 When it came to hitting the baseball, Hank Allen had few peers in the Sub League 1 this past week. The talented left fielder for Honolulu tagged opposing pitchers for a .478 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 4 homers, 10 runs scored and 9 RBIs. Allen is batting at a .323 pace this season, picking up 155 hits in 480 at-bats with 16 home runs, 69 RBIs and 77 runs scored. |
