DeSa Cracks 3 HR for Pioneers

Fans seated in the bleacher section at Bulldozers Grounds were taking cover all day long as Joe DeSa zeroed in on them, rattling three long blasts off the seats in a display of Herculean power.
The big game from the Honolulu first baseman helped the Pioneers take the victory, 9-5, over the Mt. Arlington Bulldozers.
"I told myself not to press on the last one," he told reporters in the postgame press conference. "I knew I couldn't force it -- it has to be a nice easy swing."
For the game, he collected 3 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 4 and scored 3 runs.
Joe DeSa hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.
Currently DeSa is batting .283 with 128 hits and 19 home runs. He has knocked in 67 runs and scored 66 times.
