SL2 Player of the Week Selected Monday, August 27th , 2001 It was an extraordinary week for Pinky Hargrave of the Madison Mallards. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .700, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Sub League 2. Last week Hargrave went 14-for-20, racked up 2 home runs and 6 RBIs and scored 7 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Madison catcher. Hitting .296 to date, Hargrave has 7 home runs and 32 RBIs. He has played in 47 games. |
