Lansing Shuts Out Providence, 1-0

Anthony Swarzak was in command in his outing against the Providence Barons. He hurled the Lansing Lugnuts to a 1-0 shutout victory, yielded 4 hits and chalked up 7 strikeouts and no walks.
"A complete-game shutout is fun territory for me," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I had good balance and mechanics and was able to keep the ball down. When I do that, good things happen."
Currently Swarzak has a record of 9-8 with 129 strikeouts and 37 walks in 162 innings and a 2.89 ERA.
