Sub League 1 Announces #1 Player Monday, August 20th , 2001 Alen Hanson demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Sub League 1 Player of the Week Award. The Mt. Arlington second baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .517 average (15-for-29) with 3 home runs and 7 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. This season, Hanson is batting .324 with 11 home runs. |
