Madison-Huntington Beach Brawl, Nossek and Bale Suspended Friday, August 17th , 2001 Joe Nossek of Madison and John Bale of Huntington Beach were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Nossek will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Bale was given 8 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. In 2001 Nossek has hit at a .272 clip with 25 hits, no home runs, 7 RBIs and has scored 8 times. This year, Bale has 8 wins and 9 losses and a 4.95 ERA. |
