Garland Shut Out, 11-0, By Deputies, Barnes

Tampa Deputies left-hander Charlie Barnes used his full arsenal to shoot down the Garland Americans, 11-0. All day long, he exhibited fine command of all his pitches, giving up no walks and striking out 6. Barnes allowed 2 hits in the victory.
"It felt like my catcher and I were on the same page all day, and Garland was on a way, way different page," Barnes said.
On the year, Barnes has worked 163.1 innings with 92 strikeouts en route to a 13-3 record and 3.42 ERA.
