Gore Fashions Shutout Against New Haven

In a remarkable performance, Reno Aces starter MacKenzie Gore beat the New Haven Ravens, 2-0, in an impressive 5-hit shutout.
"My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this."
The Aces hurler finished with 8 strikeouts and 1 walk. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball.
"It was a rough one for my guys," New Haven manager said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
To date this season, Gore sports a 3-8 mark with a 2.85 ERA in 15 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .263 batting average and has 76 strikeouts in 107.1 innings.
