Reno's Estrada Sidelined for Season Wednesday, August 1st , 2001 Chuck Estrada of the Reno Aces was injured in today's game against Lansing and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a torn rotator cuff, and he is expected to be out for up to 8 months. It happened while Estrada was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." To date Estrada is 1-4 in 4 starts with a 6.00 ERA and has 35 strikeouts in 27 innings. |
