Sub League 1 Selects Best Performer Monday, July 30th , 2001 Glendale sports fans can't stop singing the praises of Billy Martin, who has been selected the Sub League 1 Player of the Week. Martin was in a comfort zone all week, finishing with a .450 average (9-for-20), 12 RBIs and 3 home runs. This year, Martin has hit at a .305 pace and produced 36 RBIs, 8 home runs and scored 37 runs. |
