Justin Williams of the Ravens was unstoppable in his team's 9-7 victory over the Madison Express at Madison Fields. He battered them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats.
"Boy, I was on the mark today," said the New Haven left fielder after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-5 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will."
Justin Williams singled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Jeff Shaw in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th.
For the season, Williams has produced 40 hits in 136 at-bats for a .294 average with 8 home runs and gotten on base at a .360 clip.
