Sleater Spins 4-0 Shutout Against Huntington Beach

In a remarkable performance, Providence Barons starter Lou Sleater beat the Huntington Beach Phoenix, 4-0, in an impressive 4-hit shutout.
"My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this."
The Barons hurler finished with 13 strikeouts and no walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball.
"It was a rough one for my guys," Huntington Beach manager said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
This season, Sleater has compiled a 7-6 record with a 2.14 ERA.
