Frank White put in work at LF during intense offseason Thursday, December 6th , 2001 Frank White is gearing up for a new role this season, transitioning from his usual position to LF for the Philadelphia Phillies. With the team looking for depth here, it's possible that he finds his way to Philadelphia Phillies during the season. At the very least, it gives the Philadelphia Phillies more options to work with in case of injuries. "It's been a big adjustment, but I’m ready for the challenge," Frank White said. "I've been putting in the extra work, learning the ins and outs of LF, and trying to contribute however I can." The move has already shown promise, as Frank White quickly adapts to the new demands of the position. The Philadelphia Phillies coaching staff has been impressed with the ease at which he was able to learn the new position.
