Hubie Brooks wore out opposing pitchers en route to being named Divisional Series MVP.
The star's Seattle Mariners defeated the Detroit Tigers by a series score of 4-2 to advance to the League Championship Series.
Seattle won the final game by a 7-2 count in front of a raucous crowd at Rogers Centre.
Brooks hit .409 with a .480 on-base percentage in the series, while also adding 4 home runs, driving in 7 RBI and scoring 7 runs.
"Just trying to do my job, that's all there is too it," said Brooks.
The Seattle Mariners don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Minnesota Twins - Chicago (A) White Sox series. That series is tied at 3 games apiece. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
