Hit Streak Now at 20 for Kemp Wednesday, September 19th , 2001 Matt Kemp's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 1-for-4 in his team's 2-1 triumph over the Cleveland Guardians at League Park. The 27-year-old right fielder has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games for the Rockies. Matt Kemp struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, struck out in the 6th and singled in the 9th. So far this year, Kemp has hit .314 with 39 home runs, 93 RBIs and 112 runs scored. |
