Baltimore Shuts Out Houston Behind Fiers, 7-0 Tuesday, September 18th , 2001 Baltimore Orioles pitcher Mike Fiers really got it done at Minute Maid Park in a 7-0 shutout victory over the Houston Astros, shutting them down on 6 hits. "It was just one of those games where everything went right. I threw a lot of strikes," Fiers said. "And the pitches they did get to hit, they didn't do anything with them."
