Williams Extends Hit Streak to 33 Games

Billy Williams's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Texas. The 22-year-old left fielder extended it once again, this time bringing it to 33 games with a 1-for-4 performance against the Boston Red Sox. The Rangers won the game, 12-3.

"People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful."
Billy Williams struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th.

This year, Williams is hitting .348 with 169 hits, 38 home runs, 108 RBIs and has scored 85 runs.
