Rangers Take Tight Tangle
The Texas Rangers and Milwaukee Brewers put on quite a show.

The Texas Rangers defeated the Milwaukee Brewers, 9-8, in 11 innings. Eric Davis, who finished 3rd in the AL in stolen bases with 39 last year, played a big role. Davis went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Rangers in the win. The 8th-place Rangers have won 4 consecutive games.

Texas took the lead, 9-8, on Joe Vosmik's 6th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Milwaukee pitcher Ed Vosberg in the top of the 11th.
