Twins Drop Close One Late
|
The Texas Rangers sent the home crowd home ecstatic.
Texas Rangers starter Don Durham pitched well against the Minnesota Twins at Globe Life Field, leading his team to a win, 4-3. The Rangers go to 33-48 with the win.
The decisive blow was delivered by Rick Auerbach in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run double off 28-year old right-handed pitcher Brusdar Graterol to win the game for Texas. The home crowd went nuts.
Texas manager Kyle Shea was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard," he said.
