The Colorado Rockies turned back the Chicago (N) Cubs, 7-6, at Coors Field. Kendrys Morales, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The Rockies, now 46-34, have won 5 in a row.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Colorado trailing 6-5, Morales jumped on a sinker from 28-year old right-handed pitcher Matt Albers and hit a 2-run home run to right-center. With one swing, the Rockies had a walk-off win.
