Expos fans were treated to an exciting walk-off win.

Chicago (N) shortstop Matt Williams was sensational. He belted 2 home runs. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Montreal beat the Cubs, 5-4, in 10 innings. Lefty West earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. His record is now 2-0.

The Expos got a clutch hit from second baseman Billy Goodman. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Expos.

In postgame comments, Goodman said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."

With the victory, the Expos upped their record to 43-29.
