Astros Suffer One-Run Loss at Colorado
The Colorado Rockies beat the Houston Astros, 4-3. Colorado pitcher and Pasadena, Texas, native Gerry Janeski led the way. With the win, Colorado pushed its record to 32-30.

The Rockies got a big at-bat from shortstop Hank Majeski. For the game, Majeski was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 11th home run of the season gave Colorado a 3-2 lead.

"Gerry giving us the start that he did was huge," said Colorado manager Ben Thompson.
